What is Safe Mode doing ?
Once you are entering the safe mode,you can test your phone stability for a while and check your phone’s problems. for example : If the handset shows a noticeable improvement, a third-party app is the probable cause.
If you think that one of your apps is the causative, all you need is uninstall apps one by one to see if the phone’s behavior improves.
You can always download and reinstall an app again if you see no difference in the phone’s performance.
The disadvantage of Safe mode is that booting in safe mode will remove any Widgets and themes. After normal restart you need to set your theme again and add any widgets you had again.
How to Boot a Galaxy S8 or S8+ in Safe Mode ?
- Turn off your phone.
- Press and hold the Power button for a while to turn on the device.
- When the Samsung logo displays leave Power button then Immediately press and hold the Volume down key.
- After that when your phone boot into your lock screen the words “Safe mode” will be shown in the lower-left corner of the screen.
